Okay, so Grandma and Grandpa Gochnour wanted to take Deegan to the Hogle Zoo in SLC when they went to pick up Andrea from the airport. Of course I said he could go, I knew he'd love it. He was supposed to sleep the whole way there because we didn't get there until his nap time, but he didn't fall asleep until we were going up the hill so he got a total of about 5 minutes of sleep.
Deegan when we first got there
At first, he was happy to be out of the car, but he wasn't really engaged in the whole zoo experience. That is until he saw the giraffes... and well, I've never seen him so excited. It was so cute!

He wanted to pet it so bad
This picture says it all...
The next animal that he really loved was the monkey! He thought it was so cool when they were swinging around. He did this cute little chuckle that I've never heard him do before. The video is below, but its only the first few seconds. The rest of the time I was just trying to figure out how to turn it off. haha.
He really enjoyed the park altogether. Here are some pictures to overview the day:

Two of his wonderful grandparents
He'd much rather ride with gma than in his stroller, so yep, I just pushed around an empty stroller most of the day. But the stroller housed the lidless drinks which kept spilling on me. At least I was good for something! ha.

They weighed as much as a baby elephant

It was huge!!!

Crawling through the log in toy land
Pretending to be a turtle
Sitting in the tarantula thrown. Big shout out to sissy right here ;)
We went in the little ground hog tunnel thingy, but we couldn't see any and it was soooo hot so we were only in there long enough to take a picture.
...and then he was out before we made it back down the mountain.
~ Thanks again Grandma and Grandpa Gochnour
